To collectively meet the challenges of the new curriculum and assessment framework, Headteachers from Felpham Community College, Chichester High School, Bourne Community College and Bishop Luffa School, proposed a conference-style joint INSET day. The event is to take place on Friday 2 February. Each school is hosting their chosen curriculum areas, depending on their expertise and will further strengthen the social capital within the Alliance.
All teachers will develop their understanding of how to:
improve literacy/numeracy skills of pupils;
develop skills needed for KS3 to KS4/KS5 transition;
adapt pedagogy to meet the demands of the new curriculum.
